Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Professional to join the Cybersecurity IPT, focusing on ground segment cloud infrastructure and securing mission-critical information systems through the full SDLC in an Agile environment.

You will lead as a cybersecurity lead for a new mission, coordinate with platform deployment for secure infra, and align with RMF processes to achieve ATO. Strong experience in security tools and DevOps is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.

Responsibilities

• Lead secure systems design, development, and implementation in an Agile environment, ensuring compliance with security requirements.
• Communicate ground security requirements with space vehicle vendors and support the overall accreditation.
• Guide strategic oversight of security requirements, triage SCA findings, and address technical debt in SDLC.
• Advise scrum teams on secure coding, CI/CD, and security best practices.
• Conduct security assessments of mission software including code reviews and vulnerability testing.
• Develop RMF artifacts (SSP, RAR, SCTM, POA&Ms) and security policies for applications.
• Familiarity with RMF accreditation processes to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Document SOPs and assist with software patching, remediation, and Monitory activities.
