Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect III – Cyber for an on-site role in Washington, DC. You will design, implement, and manage scalable cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains, leading the SIEM and SOC initiatives in support of federal frameworks.

The role requires a TS/SCI-grade clearance, 10+ years in cybersecurity with strong log analytics, DoD 8140-aligned certifications, and stellar communication with diverse stakeholders. W2, full-time, comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active TS//SCI or SCI-eligible clearance.
• 10+ years as cybersecurity engineer with SOC and cross-domain solution expertise.
• Expert in SIEM implementation, log queries, and analytics.
• Experience mapping controls to NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, FISMA, FedRAMP.
• Network and infrastructure control experience across IL5 to IL6+ on NIPR/SIPR/JWICS.
• Strong knowledge of protocols, OS, and infrastructure components.
• Incident response, forensics, and security automation expertise.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• CISSP or equivalent meeting DoD 8140 requirements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cybersecurity solutions across domains.
• Lead the stand-up and integration of a Security Operations Center and its tools.
• Engineer security controls and continuous monitoring aligned to federal frameworks.
• Implement and integrate SIEM; create queries and analyze logs for anomalies.
• Design controls for networks and infrastructure across IL5 to IL6+ on NIPR/SIPR/JWICS.
• Automate security workflows to improve efficiency and response.
• Drive incident response and forensic analysis to contain threats.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate architecture, risks, and plans.
