Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst for a fast-paced SOC environment. You will monitor security events, perform tiered analysis, and assist with incident response, leveraging SIEM tools and threat intel to safeguard critical IT infrastructure.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, a DoD 8570 Level II baseline, and the ability to obtain CSSP Analyst certification within six months. A DoD-aligned defender with strong reporting skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a cyber-related field or equivalent.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or CND.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from endpoints, SIEM, and network sensors.
• Conduct Tier 1/2 security analysis across large log data sets.
• Investigate and triage security events; escalate as needed.
• Identify adversary behaviors, IOCs, and attack patterns.
• Document investigations and actions in case management systems.
• Assist in incident reports and executive summaries for leadership.
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats to improve SOC ops.
• Collaborate with team on incident response and threat detection.
