Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Cyber Software Engineer (Level 3 CNO Analyst/Programmer) to design and develop specialized software across Windows, UNIX, and embedded platforms.

This role supports multiple performance sites including Annapolis Junction MD and San Antonio TX, with a strong emphasis on secure, software-intensive systems. Requires a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, a BS/MS/PhD in a related field, and extensive C/C++/Python programming experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering; 12+ years experience, or Master’s 10+ years, or PhD 8+ years.
• Current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph (through the MD Customer) and ability to obtain clearance.
• Experience in Python or C/C++ programming and debugging complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops end-to-end software for specialized tools and data flow.
• Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python; develop Windows/UNIX/embedded applications.
• Participate in design reviews and documentation per Government procedures.
