Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Cyber Software Engineer (Level 3 CNO Analyst/Programmer) to support a range of secure, multi-domain software projects.

Positions may be located in Annapolis Junction MD, San Antonio TX, Aurora CO, or Carey, NC. The role involves designing and developing specialized software tools, documenting processes, and delivering end-to-end data flow, with exposure to Windows, UNIX, or embedded environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering with 12 years of experience (or Master’s with 10, PhD with 8)
• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph (through MD Customer)
• Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems

Responsibilities

• Provide/author software design and development of specialized tools
• Develop end-to-end data flow and tasking into tools
• Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python; build Windows and UNIX apps
• Participate in design reviews and software readiness reviews as required
