Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Software Engineer (Level 1 CNO Analyst/Programmer) to design and develop secure software tools across multiple platforms. Position requires active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph and willingness to obtain an additional polygraph as needed.

Places of performance include Annapolis Junction MD, San Antonio TX, Aurora CO, and Carey, NC. Responsibilities include coding in C, C++, Python, and Java, plus documentation and reviews within government software processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field with 4 years of experience; Master's with 2 years; PhD with 0 years.
• Experience in Python or C/C++ programming and troubleshooting systems.
• Knowledge of software development processes and government procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide custom software design and development of specialized tools.
• Design end-to-end data flow and integrate into existing tools.
• Document and participate in design, code, and readiness reviews per government procedures.
