Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Cyber Software Engineer (Level 3 CNO Analyst/Programmer) to work across Annapolis Junction MD, San Antonio TX, Aurora CO, and Carey NC.

You will design and develop specialized tools, program in multiple languages, and contribute to government software processes. The role requires a current TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph and offers comprehensive benefits and high-impact missions in national security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience, or higher degrees with matching tenure.
• Strong background in Python and C/C++ programming.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data flow and tooling for secure software.
• Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python across platforms.
• Develop Windows/UNIX/embedded applications and contribute to documentation.
• Participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews per gov’t procedures.
