Parsons is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join the Federal Solutions team in a role focused on cutting-edge cyber development. You will design, implement, and maintain security tools, review architectures, and collaborate across distributed teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, 8+ years of software engineering, and strong C/C++ and Python skills, with preferred TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be clearable; active TS/SCI is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree; additional experience may suffice in lieu of degree.
Minimum 8+ years Software Engineering experience.
Experience with cyber tool development.
C/C++ proficiency.
Python proficiency.
Familiarity with Git.
Ability to generate accurate documentation for developed software.
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a remote team.

Responsibilities

Design and develop software code for tools in cyber development and security.
Develop and maintain low-level OS and security tools.
Review system architecture and select development tools; test and debug software.
Provide customers expertise to leverage existing software and create capabilities.
Engage in quick reaction development with customer interaction.
Collaborate with a team focused on high-quality products and growth.
Be a customer-focused self-starter, eager to learn and mentor in Agile teams.
