Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Cyber Software Engineer to support the Atlantis Program contract at the NIWC Pacific facility in San Diego, CA. You will contribute to cyber software development, system design, and secure operations across a globally deployed ATLANTIS system.

Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant software development experience
• Secret Clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Experience in cybersecurity engineering including secure system design
• Experience with MLS systems for C4I environments
• Proficiency in SELinux and secure OS hardening
• Experience with secure software development practices and secure coding standards
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Software development using C/C++, Golang, Python, and Java
• Design scalable software systems with microservices architecture
• Linux-based development, system administration, and tuning
• Code reviews and mentorship for junior engineers
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and operations
• Identify and resolve complex software issues promptly
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Keep up with emerging technologies to improve systems
• Optionally leverage knowledge of PCoIP to optimize software solutions
