Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required, or 4 additional years of software engineering experience as a substitute.
• 20+ years of extensive software engineering experience on complex programs and contracts, with Java proficiency.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based applications and services with scalable, high‑performance software.
• Develop complex software systems including real‑time analytics and large‑scale data processing.
• Recommend new technologies and processes to optimize projects.
• Serve as technical lead for multiple software development teams and guide their work.
• Coordinate with customers and system engineering to select appropriate development processes.
• Ensure quality control across all software for reliability and performance.
• Delegate programming and testing tasks and monitor delivery.
• Collaborate to review, test, and refine software components to meet design standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues delivering mission‑critical solutions.
• Apply advanced software development methodologies and contribute to system‑level design decisions.
• Involve hardware/software trade‑offs and use of COTS/GOTS to maximize efficiency.
• Translate system requirements into actionable software components for integration.
