Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Manager in Centennial, CO to drive the security strategy across Operations and Technology. You will partner with AI Product, Strategy and Engineering teams to translate risk into a tactical roadmap and defend the business against evolving threats.

The role requires 10+ years in IT, 3+ years in cyber security, and strong capabilities in leadership, communication, and stakeholder management. Some travel and commutable onsite presence are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in Information Technology, or 7 years of experience with a Master’s level education in a related field.
• 3+ years of work experience in Cyber Security
• 2+ years of experience in customer facing technical engagement roles, including service and solution delivery.
• 2+ years of experience managing, coordinating, tracking projects using various PM tools
• Ability to travel up to 10% of time
• Must be located within a commutable distance to any of the following locations: New York, NY; Universal City, CA; Centennial, CO; Stamford, CT; Miami, FL; Orlando, FL
• Desired: Degree in CS or equivalent, data privacy and regulatory knowledge, security leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leadership and service owners on the execution of the Cyber Security strategy; proactively addressing the needs of the business to consistently meet or exceed established levels of security
• Communicate and coordinate NBC Universal’s Cyber Security strategy, programs and services with a diverse group of business stakeholders
• Understand the business workflows and engage with leadership to identify risks and mitigation strategies
• Provide Cyber Security thought leadership and counsel with business context
• Articulate threat landscape to stakeholders and align security strategy to defend against threats
• Bridge security assessments, compliance, and incident reports to identify critical priorities
• Track and coordinate Cyber Security involvement in technical and business projects
• Support incident response with remediation plans and postmortems
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure program maturity
