Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Sr Cyber Security Manager to lead strategic security initiatives within the Operations & Technology organization. The role emphasizes proactive defense, leadership collaboration with AI Product, Strategy and Engineering teams, and translating security insight into a tactical roadmap.

Candidates should have extensive IT and security experience, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate security priorities to executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in Information Technology, or 7+ years with a Master’s level education in a related field
• 3+ years of work experience in Cyber Security
• 2+ years of experience in customer facing technical engagement roles, including service and solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leadership on the execution of the Cyber Security strategy and address business needs to meet security levels
• Communicate NBC Universal’s Cyber Security strategy, programs and services with stakeholders
• Understand business workflows to identify risks and mitigation strategies
• Provide Cyber Security thought leadership with business-oriented focus
• Articulate threat landscape to stakeholders and align strategy to defend against threats
• Coordinate security engineering assessments, compliance status and incident reports to prioritize efforts
• Track Cyber Security involvement in technology projects
• Support incident response with postmortems and remediation plans
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure program maturity
