Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Sr Cyber Security Manager to lead the cyber security strategy within the Operations & Technology organization. The role will oversee engagement with AI Product, Strategy and Engineering teams and translate security insight into a tactical roadmap.

The ideal candidate will build relationships with leadership, assess risk, develop security programs, and communicate the importance of NBCUniversal security initiatives to drive trust and alignment across the business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in Information Technology, or 7 years with a Master’s level education in a related field.
• 3+ years of work experience in Cyber Security.
• 2+ years of experience in customer facing technical engagement roles, including service and solution delivery.
• 2+ years of experience managing, coordinating, tracking projects using PM tools.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of time.
• Must be located within a commutable distance to New York, NY; Universal City, CA; Centennial, CO; Stamford, CT; Miami, FL; Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leadership and service owners on the execution of the Cyber Security strategy; proactively addressing business needs to meet security levels.
• Communicate and coordinate NBCUniversal’s Cyber Security strategy and programs with diverse stakeholders.
• Understand workflows and identify risks with business leadership to craft mitigations.
• Provide Cyber Security thought leadership with business-aware guidance.
• Articulate threat landscape to stakeholders and align strategy to defend against threats.
• Coordinate security engineering assessments, compliance status, and incident reports to prioritize efforts.
• Track Cyber Security involvement in technology projects and drive improvements.
• Support and develop metrics and KPIs for security program maturity.
