Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Sr Cyber Security Manager to lead security strategy execution across AI Product, Strategy, and Engineering teams within Operations & Technology. The role emphasizes proactive defense, strong business relationships, and a roadmap aligned with NBCUniversal’s global security program.

The successful candidate will translate complex security concepts into actionable roadmaps, collaborate with leadership, internal audit, clients and regulators, and drive security maturity

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in Information Technology, or 7+ years with a Master’s in a related field.
• 3+ years of work experience in Cyber Security
• 2+ years of experience in customer facing technical engagement roles
• 2+ years of experience in coordinating and tracking projects using PM tools
• Ability to travel up to 10% of time
• Must be located within a commutable distance to NBCUniversal locations (New York, Universal City, Centennial, Stamford, Miami, Orlando)

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leadership and service owners on the execution of the Cyber Security strategy; proactively addressing the needs of the business to meet security levels.
• Communicate and coordinate NBC Universal’s Cyber Security strategy, programs and services with diverse stakeholders.
• Understand business workflows and engage with leadership to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Provide Cyber Security thought leadership with understanding of business culture and audience.
• Articulate threat landscape to stakeholders and align security strategy to defend against threats.
• Bridge security assessments, compliance status and incident reports to prioritize efforts.
• Track Cyber Security involvement in technical and business projects.
• Coordinate with the incident response team to resolve incidents with postmortem remediation.
• Develop business-relevant metrics and KPIs to measure program maturity
