Job summary

Rolls-Royce is hiring a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures across on-prem and cloud environments. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will monitor threats, conduct assessments, and collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance our security posture while adhering to industry standards such as NIST and ISO27001.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in a relevant field with 2+ years in network security
In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in network security
U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC.
Monitor network traffic and security logs for anomalies and threats.
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks and mitigate them.
Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to strengthen overall security posture.
Maintain and configure security tooling on-prem and in the cloud.
Keep SIEM/EDR/DLP tools up to date and effective.
Document security incidents, findings, and mitigation steps.
Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
