Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC is seeking a Senior Director of Cyber Security to spearhead enterprise-wide risk-based cyber security strategy and security operations. You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to advance mature controls and protect global systems, data, and customers.

The role requires 12+ years in regulated environments, 5+ years in leadership, and familiarity with GxP and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 12+ years of cyber security experience in regulated environments (healthcare, life sciences, etc).
• 5+ years leading cyber security teams, programs, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, CVV, data integrity principles.
• Experience defining enterprise cyber security strategy, roadmaps, and operating models.
• Ability translate cyber risk and security metrics into clear leadership recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support customer assurance, audits, and regulatory inspections in regulated environments.
• Define and execute cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model to reduce risk.
• Lead programs across operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and governance.
• Embed security requirements into products, platforms, processes, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response to incidents with cross-team coordination.
• Improve security controls, policies, standards, and reporting aligned to frameworks.
• Assess current and emerging threats and prioritize remediation with tech teams.
• Support audits, certifications, and regulatory activities with measurable security practices.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team with coaching and prioritization.
• Communicate risk and program performance to executive leadership.
