Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC seeks a Senior Director, Cyber Security to lead enterprise-wide strategy and operations. You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to reduce risk and strengthen our security posture across healthcare and life sciences environments.

This role requires deep experience in regulated industries, a track record of building high-performing security teams, and the ability to translate cyber risk into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 12+ years in cyber security in regulated environments; 5+ years leading teams; familiarity with healthcare/life sciences standards; ability to define and execute enterprise cyber security strategy; experience in security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, threat monitoring, and risk management; knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model to reduce risk and strengthen security posture.
• Lead cyber security programs across operations, incident response, vulnerability management, security engineering, governance, risk, and compliance.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and business leaders to embed security into products, platforms, processes, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response to security incidents.
• Drive improvement of security controls, policies, standards, dashboards, metrics, and reporting.
• Evaluate emerging threats, identify gaps, and prioritize remediation with technology and product teams.
• Support audit, certification, and regulatory activities by ensuring security practices are documented and measurable.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team with coaching and prioritization.
• Communicate cyber risk, program performance, incident trends, and strategic recommendations to executives.
