Job summary

Tamayo Federal Solutions seeks a Sr Cyber Security Architect to research, evaluate, and implement next-generation cyber capabilities across the DPAE CVN portfolio. You will leverage data science, engineering, and defensive operations to strengthen maritime cyber posture.

You will analyze cybersecurity mandates, develop risk metrics, and provide advanced analytics for leadership. Collaboration with Navy stakeholders and senior leadership is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7–10+ years of relevant experience with machinery control systems, network security, and cybersecurity design, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience evaluating cybersecurity mandates and technologies.
• Experience defining and managing KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, or cyber risk visibility tools for leadership.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, briefing, and oral communication skills.
• Active DoD security clearance.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote).
• Ability to interface with Navy stakeholders and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze emerging cyber mandates and evaluate cybersecurity technologies.
• Support R&D efforts and develop cyber risk metrics and dashboards.
• Provide advanced cyber analytics to leadership and translate risks for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to cyber incident response planning and coordination across Navy stakeholders.
