Job summary

Tamayo Federal Solutions (TFS) is seeking a Data Scientist/RMF Analyst to strengthen the Navy’s cyber posture on CVN platforms. The role focuses on RMF, eMASS, and risk management to support DoD cybersecurity requirements and system modernization.

The ideal candidate will translate engineering data into actionable cybersecurity findings, conduct vulnerability reviews, and support ATO/ATC readiness while collaborating with engineers and program teams in a senior-level, onsite role in Washington,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information assurance, cybersecurity, engineering, or related technical field.
• 7-10+ years of RMF lifecycle experience including control selection and A&A support.
• Experience managing eMASS packages, artifacts, and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of NIST RMF, CNSSI 1253, FISMA and DoD cybersecurity directives.
• Experience reviewing vulnerability assessments and security artifacts for complex systems.
• Ability to translate engineering data into cybersecurity findings and recommendations.
• Experience with STIGs/SRGs for networks or ICS.
• Ability to work independently in a senior-level environment with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity readiness and modernization for CVN platforms with RMF, eMASS, and risk management activities.
• Serve as a technical advisor to ensure CVN systems meet DoD cybersecurity requirements and review artifacts.
• Modernize cybersecurity infrastructure and RMF processes.
• Conduct vulnerability and hardening reviews and support ATO/ATC readiness.
• Develop analytical briefings communicating program status, risks, and actions.
• Interface with team members and technical leads to drive policy and lifecycle improvements.
