The ideal candidate has 10+ years in security engineering, strong risk judgment, and hands-on leadership in secure system design, network security, and threat modeling, with proven collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (EE/CS/cybersecurity).
• 10+ years of security engineering or related experience.
• Impeccable judgment in applying security controls to reduce risk.
• Able to trade off security, performance, and reliability.
• Familiarity with modern security tools and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership in secure system design and controls.
• Lead secure network design, segmentation, encryption, IAM, and monitoring implementations.
• Document and communicate technical decisions to mature security services.
• Mentor security engineers and bridge operations with engineering.
• Align security activities with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA.
