Amentum is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to own enterprise cyber risk assessment work, articulating risk to business leadership in terms aligned with the risk appetite. The role is a US remote, senior individual contributor within the Cyber GR&C team, requiring deep technical insight into networking, cloud, endpoint, and identity decisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cybersecurity experience; 8 years with BS, or 4 years with MS.
• Enterprise risk management and third-party cyber risk assessment experience.
• Current Security+ or equivalent certification.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to reside in the U.S. for remote work.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments across the enterprise, identifying risk to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Articulate cyber risk to business and technical leadership in clear, decision-ready terms.
• Lead cyber risk reviews including third-party risk and software risk reviews; track AI development risk as it relates to cyber risk.
• Coordinate with Compliance to ensure coherent risk treatment across frameworks.
• Evaluate risk implications of technology decisions in networking, cloud, endpoint, and identity architectures.
• Indicate when residual risk exceeds appetite and specify required reductions.
• Contribute to scoping and architecture decisions with a risk posture perspective.
• Improve GR&C operational processes: methodology, intake, evidence handling, and risk judgments consistency.
• Maintain current knowledge of cyber risk, threats, technology, and regulatory landscapes.
