Job summary

Tyonek is seeking applications for a position supporting AF Cyber Operations - Training Mission Simulator and Range Engineer. Responsibilities include backup software support, virtualization design, and maintenance of training networks and simulators across data centers and remote sites.

Requires a Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience, IAT Level III, and Top Secret/SCI clearance. Drug-free workplace and pre-employment testing are required, with on-site duties in Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 7 years of experience.
• IAT Level III (CASP+, VCP, CISSP, CCNP, GCED, CASP CE)
• Top Secret Clearance/SCI required

Responsibilities

• Provide backup software support for enterprise backup infrastructure across data centers and remote locations.
• Monitor, optimize and diagnose backup and storage solutions.
• Document outages, root cause analysis and proposed resolutions for management review.
• Research, evaluate and analyze enterprise backup technologies and storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Cyber weapon system training environments.
• Design/engineer and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hypervisors, VM tools).
• Integrate with Cyber Weapon Systems Students/Instructors and provide Tier 1–3 maintenance.
• Communicate operational status, outages, and delays to leadership.
• Maintain and administer networks and related computing environments; diagnose hardware/software issues.
