Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Senior Consultant for the Data Protection & Privacy (DPP) team within Cybersecurity to lead client engagements and deliver security strategies. You will manage engagement teams, define data security requirements, and guide the deployment of encryption, data governance and privacy controls across complex client environments, with travel up to 40-60% and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 4-6 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into clients' infrastructure and applications.
• Knowledge of general security concepts and methods such as encryption, data disposition, data classification, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, and governance.
• Basic understanding of how to protect client’s data throughout the data lifecycle and effectively dispose of data using tokenization, encryption, anonymization and deletion.

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagement teams and deliver professional services on strategic and global priority accounts.
• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions and develop data protection strategies.
• Lead encryption strategy, governance, and data lifecycle protection across client environments.
• Implement and advise on multiple data security products and solutions, including PKI, data governance, and post-quantum strategies.
