Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Consultant on our Data Protection & Privacy team to lead client engagements, define data security requirements, and implement encryption and governance programs. You’ll manage teams, shape data security strategies, and advise on tools to protect critical data across the lifecycle.

You’ll work within EY's Advanced Security Centers in a globally connected environment, travel up to 40-60% and contribute to large, complex security initiatives across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 4-6 years of related work experience or a graduate degree with 3-5 years.
• 3-5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software.
• Knowledge of encryption, data disposition, data classification, and governance.
• Understanding of data lifecycle protection and data disposal techniques.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions and governance.
• Lead teams and develop data security strategies across client engagements.
• Implement encryption, key management, and data governance programs.
• Advise on data discovery tools and data lifecycle concepts across deployments.
• Support multiple data security products and solution implementations for clients.
