Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Watch Officer (SWO) to support the Federal Strategic Cyber group in Washington, DC. Based in the DHS CISA 24x7 SCIF/Operations Center, the SWO coordinates cyber and physical incidents and delivers timely, actionable reporting to government leadership.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Operations/Intelligence/Cyber practitioner who can lead a team of analysts, manage incident data, brief senior leaders, and coordinate across federal stakeholders on high‑impact events in

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related technical experience, or a master’s with 4 years of related experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive event reporting, cyclic reporting, and briefing products.
Experience with open-source analysis and alerting systems.
Must be flexible for a 24x7x365 operations support environment.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance required with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

Coordinate cyber and physical incidents and produce incident reporting for leadership and federal stakeholders.
Lead a team of analysts during shifts and coordinate tasks through completion.
Liaise with internal divisions, federal partners, law enforcement, and industry partners for coordinated reporting.
Brief management and senior leadership on developing situations during briefings or ad hoc.
Monitor classified databases, alerting services, and open-source sources for threats.
