Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a cybersecurity professional to join a team focused on strengthening enterprise security across endpoints, cloud, identity, and network. You will implement controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, configure monitoring, and assist incident response in a remote-friendly environment.

The role emphasizes threat hunting, telemetry analysis, and collaboration with technical teams to promote security standards and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• At least 3 years of cybersecurity experience including secure configuration, testing, monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, SIEM operations, or related functions.
• Practical understanding of cybersecurity controls, monitoring practices, vulnerability assessment, system hardening, and escalation procedures.
• Ability to analyze security events, telemetry, investigate threats, document findings, and recommend remediation.
• Desirable experience with threat hunting, security telemetry analysis, and security data analytics.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) or comparable credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align activities with cybersecurity standards and project objectives.
• Implement and maintain security controls, monitoring configurations, and backup routines.
• Configure and test security solutions, perform vulnerability scans, establish monitoring capabilities.
• Support endpoint, identity, cloud, and network security analysis, including incident response and threat hunting.
• Document findings, analyze telemetry, identify vulnerabilities, and escalate risks as needed.
• Suggest improvements to security configurations, processes, and practices.
• Collaborate with teams to share expertise and improve security standards.
