Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Director of Information Security & Strategic Resilience to lead enterprise security and resilience in a remote-first US-based role. You will shape the security program, drive risk-based decisions, and align security with business growth across cloud platforms and third-party partnerships.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on expertise in security architecture, incident response, and governance, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of information security leadership
• Strong knowledge of CIS/NIST/FAIR frameworks
• Experience with cloud security and identity management
• Hands-on expertise in incident response and vulnerability management
• Ability to communicate risk to executives and boards
• Experience with vendor and third-party risk management
• Background in security architecture and encryption controls
• Familiarity with AI risk considerations is a plus
• Preferred CISSP/CISM/CRISC/GIAC certifications are welcome

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year cybersecurity and resilience roadmap
• Establish risk-based security governance and compliance programs
• Oversee third-party risk and vendor security assessments
• Provide architectural guidance across Azure, M365, Defender, Purview, and Intune
• Define encryption, key management, and secrets protection practices
• Lead vulnerability management, threat modeling, and remediation
• Mature EDR, SIEM, and cloud security capabilities and MSSP coordination
• Own incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and resilience initiatives
• Advise executives on cybersecurity investments and risk priorities
• Mentor security staff and build internal capability
