Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect – Cyber Operations to join our Arlington, VA team on a hybrid schedule. The role drives the design, implementation, and operation of advanced cyber defense solutions for federal programs, with a focus on threat detection, incident response, and mission-aligned outcomes.

The ideal candidate leads cross-functional teams, aligns operations with client goals, and shapes strategy for defensive cyber operations across CISA engagements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leadership in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments (threat detection and response)
• 5+ years deploying cybersecurity solutions in federal government environments
• Expert-level understanding of cyber defense frameworks and response workflows
• In-depth understanding of CISA Strategic Operations, Capabilities, and Mission
• Proven success developing actionable strategic and operational plans
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication; cross-functional leadership

Responsibilities

• Drive Strategic Growth: lead strategy for expanding ECS cyber operations offerings for federal programs.
• Operationalize Capabilities: enable agency clients to operationalize key cyber capabilities.
• Design Integrated Solutions: oversee design and delivery of integrated cyber operations solutions.
• Innovate Cyber Operations: lead threat detection, automated response, threat hunting and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate Across Mission Spaces: coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and teams.
• Develop Strategic Artifacts: produce architectural blueprints, roadmaps, implementation plans.
• Lead Use Case & Requirements Development: define use cases, CONOPS and functional requirements.
• Engage Stakeholders: build relationships with CISA stakeholders to capture needs and adoption.
