Job summary

MITRE in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Senior Cyber Intelligence Engineer to advance cyber intelligence research and lead projects. You will collaborate across MITRE to shape work and capabilities, applying ATT&CK-based analytics to real-world sponsor challenges.

Required qualifications include 5 years of cyber intel experience (3 with a Master’s or PhD), active TS/SCI with poly, and excellent communication. On-site work four days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related cyber intelligence experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years with a Master’s; or a PhD with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated application of MITRE ATT&CK® within operational environments and other structured frameworks and analytic techniques.
• Knowledge of adversary tradecraft and cyber operations as a tool of statecraft.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presenting analytic work.
• Must have an active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Apply cyber intelligence expertise to help sponsors solve complex security problems, including defensive operations and critical infrastructure.
• Guide sponsors in building and advancing cyber intelligence capabilities and programs.
• Review sponsor tools and recommend best practices, analytic methodologies, and AI integration.
• Propose and perform research and development to advance cyber intelligence.
• Use MITRE ATT&CK® to help the global cybersecurity community understand threat behaviors.
