Job summary

MITRE’s Cyber Threat Intelligence department seeks creative engineers to advance adversary emulation, threat emulation, and red teaming development. You will contribute to ATT&CK evaluations and Caldera efforts while supporting government sponsors with offensive security insights.

The role requires delivering cutting-edge capabilities, applying AI to cyber operations, and collaborating across MITRE’s national security and public sector sponsors. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with related work experience; or PhD with relevant experience who can contribute immediately.
• Experience creating and using offensive security tools, malware implants, and red team capabilities.
• Ability to independently deliver adversary emulation capabilities and communicate findings clearly.

• Build and emulate cutting-edge real-world threat capabilities for defense.
• Leverage AI to advance cyber operations, purple teaming, and threat intelligence.
