Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Incident Handler at an intermediate level to independently manage the full lifecycle of cybersecurity incidents for the DoD information network at Fort Huachuca, AZ. You will evaluate complex network events, provide advanced technical leadership, and mentor junior staff while refining defensive playbooks to improve mission security.

The role requires DoD Secret Clearance eligibility and a track record in incident response, threat analysis, and security operations.

Qualifications

• 6 years w/o BS/BA, 4 years with an Associates; 2 years w/BS/BA, 0 years w/Masters OR one of the listed certifications.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience managing full lifecycle of cybersecurity incidents and evaluating complex network events.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the full lifecycle of cybersecurity incidents and evaluate complex network events to protect DoD information network.
• Serve as technical leader by mentoring staff, performing QA reviews, and refining defensive playbooks for maximum security.
