Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Threat Hunter for Fort Huachuca, AZ, to protect DoD networks and multi-tenant environments. The position requires 8+ years in cybersecurity, a TS/SCI clearance, and a strong track record of translating complex findings into actionable guidance for senior leaders and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience in cyber analysis, threat hunting, and blue/purple-team operations.
• Experience with U.S. Government CSSP settings and DoD networks.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate sophisticated threats and improve detection capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of TTPs and incident response across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support incident response during high-severity cyber incidents, providing expert analysis and remediation guidance.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across cloud and on-prem subscriber environments to identify malicious activity.
• Identify adversary TTPs and develop countermeasures, signatures, and detection rules.
• Build and monitor AI-assisted detections to identify adversary behavior.
• Deliver clear reports on findings, risk, and remediation actions for technical and leadership audiences.
• Collaborate across cybersecurity, IT, and network teams to strengthen subscriber security posture.
