Job summary

Valiant Solutions is a security-focused IT solutions provider serving public clients nationwide. A 24x7x365 cybersecurity operations center guides incident response and remediation, with lifecycle tracking and documentation of all actions during events.

You will serve as Incident Management lead, mentoring Tier 1/2 analysts and performing log analysis, triage, and escalation per SOPs to Federal Leadership. Strong certifications and SIEM/EDR tooling experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience or a Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in the field.
• Active CISSP, GCIH, Security X, CSAE, or CSIE certification preferred.
• Proficient with Splunk SIEM, Defender EDR and XSOAR for incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Track incident lifecycles and document all actions taken during and after events.
• Serve as key Incident Management personnel and guide Tier 1/Tier 2 analysts.
• Perform log analysis, triage, and elevate notifications to Federal Leadership per SOPs.
