Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Senior Cyber Defense Analyst Lead to orchestrate cyber operations at the INDOPACOM Network Security Operations Center. You will drive AI-assisted threat detection, real-time analytics, and mission-driven decision making across multi-enclave environments.

Lead elite defenders to identify, disrupt, and neutralize threats before impacting operations. As shift lead, you’ll mentor analysts, coordinate responses, and ensure high-quality incident documentation while aligning with RMF

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification within 180 days.
• 5+ years in SOC, CSSP or cyber defense with incident response & threat hunting.
• Senior analyst or shift lead experience in SOC/enterprise defense.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, TTPs, and cyber kill chain concepts.
• Hands-on with SIEM/EDR/SOAR and network analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior analyst and shift lead for monitoring, triage, and threat hunting.
• Coordinate shift-level response during alerts, incidents, and outages.
• Prioritize detections from AI-assisted SOC tools and monitoring platforms.
• Lead initial triage, containment, and handoff across shifts.
• Mentor junior analysts in detection, incident response, and SOPs.
• Refine detections, SOAR playbooks, and AI-assisted workflows with partners.
