Sompo Holdings, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Underwriter, Cyber/E&O to join the Sompo Pro team.

You will underwrite MSPLI, Technology Errors and Omissions, Cyber Liability, Media Liability, Architects and Engineers Professional Liability, and Insurance Agents and Brokers, while developing broker relationships and marketing plans within the South-Central wholesale marketplace. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional lines underwriting, excellent communication and analytical

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Professional lines Underwriting Experience.
• Established relationships within the Wholesale Network in the South-Central Marketplace.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Technology Errors and Omissions, Cyber Liability, Media Liability, Architects and Engineers Professional Liability, and Insurance Agents and Brokers.
• Evaluate all individual risk characteristics and properly determine capacity, attachment point, terms and pricing.
• Maintain and enhance existing broker relationships and develop new relationships within the South-Central wholesale marketplace.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to retain existing business and produce new opportunities that fit Sompo Pro’s risk appetite.
• Interact, communicate and negotiate with external and internal business partners at all levels.
