Sompo is seeking a Senior Underwriter, Cyber/E&O for the Sompo Pro team in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on underwriting cyber, tech E&O, and related professional liability lines, maintaining broker relationships, and driving growth within the Pacific South region.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in professional lines underwriting, strong communication, and analytical skills, with travel around 10% to support retail and wholesale partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Professional lines Underwriting Experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions, Cyber Liability and related lines.
• Evaluate risk characteristics and determine capacity, attachment points, terms and pricing.
• Maintain and develop broker relationships within the Pacific South region with retail and wholesale partners.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to retain and grow business within Sompo Pro risk appetite.
• Interact and negotiate with external/internal business partners at all levels.
