Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Cyber Security / DevOps Systems Engineer to design, automate, secure, and optimize full-stack enterprise solutions supporting mission-critical operations at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The role focuses on container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and enhancing cybersecurity posture in on-premises environments.

Responsibilities include threat correlation, cyber threat assessments, and integrating new software and hardware while maintaining rigorous testing,

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
• 9+ years in DEVOPS/Systems Engineering or related field.
• Experience with On-Prem GitLab, Rancher, K8s, Terraform, Ansible.
• Knowledge of DEVOPS cybersecurity practices and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Engineer containerized apps, CI/CD, and monitoring for full-stack automation.
• Integrate newly procured software and hardware into environments.
• Assess and advise on cybersecurity measures for software/hardware platforms.
• Deploy security controls to protect systems and data.
• Test and evaluate cyberspace systems; troubleshoot on-premises issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
