Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Global Cybersecurity SOC Operations Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across our IT environment. This senior role requires ownership of cyber operations with minimal guidance and a strong incident response mindset.

You will work with SIEM, EDR, and O365 ecosystems, analyze logs and threats, and lead incident investigations, documentation, and improvements to protect our global platforms.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 1-2+ years' experience in security operations center.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and ticketing tools.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Security certifications highly required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs to detect incidents.
• Respond to and triage security events per IR playbooks.
• Investigate root causes and determine impact.
• Collaborate with teams to contain and remediate threats.
• Maintain runbooks and incident timelines.
