Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS Mission Lead to guide an on-site, 5x8 operated defensive cybersecurity team delivering 24x7 monitoring and incident response across DoD networks. You will coach analysts, coordinate incident response, and align operations with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks.

Responsibilities include triage, reporting, and integration of threat intelligence, with close collaboration to program and customer leadership.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance is required.
• Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP networking, packet analysis, OSI model, and defense-in-depth.
• Experience in operational cyber defense or SOC roles with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational cyber defense team in 24x7 monitoring and incident response coordination.
• Coach and mentor team members with regular check-ins and performance reviews.
• Partner with operations to plan advanced training and certification paths.
• Ensure security incidents are escalated to leadership and DoD stakeholders per standards.
• Manage shift coverage, training schedules, and mission readiness within classified environments.
