Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Forensics Specialist to lead advanced digital forensics investigations within the Cyber Defense Forensics (CDF) team. You will mentor analysts, integrate forensic findings with threat intel and IR data, and represent the team in cross-functional discussions and executive briefings.

The role emphasizes evidence preservation, legal defensibility, and collaboration with law enforcement as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in incident detection and response, malware analysis, or cyber forensics.
• Seven+ years in digital media forensic analysis, static/disassembly and runtime malware analysis.
• Experience integrating forensic findings with threat intel and incident data, across SOC.

Aufgaben

• Lead complex digital media forensic analysis, static malware disassembly, and runtime malware analysis for high-priority investigations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level forensic analysts, ensuring technical accuracy and defensibility.
• Analyze and synthesize forensic findings with other data sources across the SOC and IR data.
• Serve as the SME for evidence preservation, chain of custody, and legal defensibility across classifications.
• Support escalation of cases to law enforcement and internal departments as needed.
• Author and refine Malware Analysis Reports for complex cases.
• Identify workflow improvements to increase case throughput while maintaining integrity.
• Represent the forensics function in cross-team incident response coordination and executive briefings.
