Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Forensics Specialist to lead digital media forensic analysis and malware code analysis for high-priority investigations at a federal SOC. You will mentor junior analysts and integrate findings with threat intel and incident response data.

You will serve as the SME for evidence preservation, chain of custody, and legal defensibility, while supporting case escalation to law enforcement and cross-team coordination at executive levels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in incident detection and response or forensics.
• BS degree (or 4 additional years) or MS degree (or 2 additional years).
• Experience leading complex forensic investigations and mentoring analysts.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex digital media forensic analysis and malware code analysis.
• Mentor junior and mid-level forensic analysts in technical accuracy.
• Integrate forensic findings with threat intelligence and IR data.
• Represent the forensics function in cross-team incident response and exec briefings.
• Author and refine Malware Analysis Reports for high-visibility cases.
