Job summary

Brown and Caldwell in Nashville, TN, seeks a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, build, and operate complex security solutions while guiding risk-based compliance with SOC2, CMMC, and client requirements.

You will lead incident management, vulnerability remediation, and threat detection across cloud and on-prem environments, mentor staff, and help shape the security architecture and automation strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of cyber security experience.
• Experience with incident and vulnerability management and security guidance.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISA, CRISC.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts and tickets with precision.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security standards and guidelines.
• Participate in incident management and remediation.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and recommend solutions.
• Provide security guidance for new technology evaluations and implementations.
• Coordinate legal discovery, holds, and client security questionnaires.
