Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Cyber Architect to lead network risk management and maintain cybersecurity posture for a dispersed network supporting ICBM Sustainment. The role requires DoD security clearances and supports a 24/7 operations context in Clearfield, UT.

The candidate will drive RMF artifacts, work with SOC, and ensure timely patching and configuration controls, with on-call responsibilities and potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD.
• Must possess DoD 8140 Certification for IAT Level II within two months of starting.
• Advanced cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, GSEC).
• Experience building and configuring SOC tools including SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, and other management tools.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enable program network risk management processes in coordination with program risk management.
• Own and maintain the cybersecurity posture and configuration of a dispersed network.
• Produce System Security Plans (SSPs) and related RMF artifacts in collaboration with Cyber ISSM.
