Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT, is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst to lead RMF, NIST SP 800-53 controls, and OD parameter implementation across classified and unclassified networks. You will tailor controls, prepare SAPs and SSPs, and drive system hardening using DISA STIGs and SCAP tools.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAM Level II or IASAE baseline certifications, and 5 years of experience with a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of cybersecurity experience, or 3 years with a Master's (and 1 with a PhD).
• Active US DoD Secret clearance required at time of application.
• DoD 8570/8140 compliant IAM baseline certifications (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP).
• Experience RMF lifecycle, NIST SP 800-53 controls, and STIG implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF lifecycle steps and prepare SAPs, SSPs, and SCTMs.
• Implement and tailor NIST SP 800-53 controls across classified/unclassified networks.
• Drive system hardening on Windows Server and RHEL using DISA STIGs.
• Develop automation to monitor and enforce baselines; support inspections and E&IT events.
