Job summary

EY is seeking a Cyber AI Engineer (Senior Consultant) to deploy frontier AI models for cybersecurity, working with client security teams to translate use cases into engineering tasks. The role includes architecture, pair programming, and delivering production-grade AI solutions with strong testing and documentation.

You will collaborate with model providers and researchers, contribute to demos, and support delivery playbooks while traveling 25–50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, APIs, Git, automated testing, and production delivery.
• Experience deploying frontier AI models or LLM apps for cybersecurity.
• Experience building agents, model integrations, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation harnesses.
• Security operations, threat investigation, or incident response automation.
• DevSecOps, containers, and infrastructure-as-code for AI services.
• Cloud engineering and secure AI deployment on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• API integration with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, or code security platforms.
• Application security, vulnerability analysis, and secure code review.
• Understanding of prompt injection, data leakage, and OWASP MITRE ATLAS safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Deploy AI workflows for threat investigation, detection engineering, vulnerability analysis, and remediation support.
• Own assigned technical deliverables and communicate progress to engagement leaders.
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and integration troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with model providers and researchers to test cyber capabilities.
• Contribute to technical demonstrations, proposals, and reusable components.
