Job summary

EY is seeking a Cyber AI Engineer at the Senior Consultant level to help clients apply frontier AI cyber models to realistic security challenges. You will build, evaluate, and deploy AI solutions—from prototype to production—with guidance from leaders.

You will own technical deliverables, collaborate with client teams, review code, test, and contribute to demonstrations and reusable components. Travel 25–50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering and AI/ML experience.
• Proficiency in Python, APIs, Git, automated testing, and production delivery.
• Experience deploying frontier AI models or LLM applications for cybersecurity.
• Experience building agents, model integrations, retrieval pipelines, evaluation harnesses, and secure deployments.
• Security operations, threat investigation, detection engineering, or incident automation.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure-as-code for AI services.
• Cloud engineering and secure AI deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• API integration with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, or code security platforms.
• Understanding of prompt injection, data leakage, unsafe tool use, and safeguards from OWASP Top 10 for LLMs.
• Working knowledge of security architecture, IAM, data protection, and secure AI operations.
• Experience contributing to client-facing delivery from requirements through handover.
• Strong writing, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• As a Cyber AI Engineer, deploy AI workflows for threat investigation, detection engineering, vulnerability analysis, and remediation support.
• As a Senior Consultant, own deliverables, estimate tasks, communicate progress, and contribute to architecture, reviews, and deployment troubleshooting.
