Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer in the United States to embed with client security and engineering teams, driving secure, governed, and resilient AI deployments in complex environments.

You will own outcomes: reduce attack surface, production-safe AI deployments, and measurable security posture improvements, using Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as primary tools. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with a cybersecurity discipline depth.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on design/deploy of agentic AI solutions in production.
• Minimum 8 years of end-to-end security delivery ownership in client-embedded or production environments.
• Minimum 8 years working with cloud security fundamentals (IAM, networking, AI service security).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments.
• Deliver hands-on security engineering using agentic coding tools in daily practice.
• Own AI-specific threat surface management at programme scale.
• Architect and govern AI security controls across the enterprise stack.
• Lead AI governance framework implementation (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, model risk).
• Shape AI reinvention security strategy for client executives.
• Publish reusable security patterns, playbooks, accelerators across engagements.
• Lead architecture design sessions and threat modeling workshops.
• Provide cybersecurity domain expertise in at least one discipline.
• Engage in proposal development, solution shaping, and client engagements.
• Facilitate executive workshops and C-suite communication.
• Mentor teams and drive delivery excellence.
