Job summary

Honeywell Academy in Houston seeks a certified training instructor with deep expertise in electromechanical engineering, process control systems, and IT domains. The role requires delivering compliant courses, updating training materials, and tailoring sessions to client needs.

You will work with training logistics, support remote delivery, and continually maintain SME-level knowledge across multiple domains, including HMI and virtualization technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electromechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience must involve five (5) years in: MS SQL Server, MS Windows Server, Networking, Process Control Systems, and Process Control System Backup/Restore.
• Experience must involve three (3) years in: IT Domains/Workgroups, Virtualization technologies, and HMI Design/Implementation (vbscript or jscript).
• Certified Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for standard training.
• Set-up and configure required training hardware and software.
• Deliver training courses compliant with Honeywell HPS and Honeywell Academy Quality procedures.
• Continuously update training equipment, hardware, and software with latest course releases.
• Maintain technical knowledge as Subject Matter Expert on 3+ areas.
• Deliver training on these subjects as a certified instructor.
• Design and deliver tailored courses per customer requirements.
• Collect student feedback after training delivery.
• Suggest training course improvements to the Honeywell Academy.
• Familiar with virtual and remote training delivery technologies.
• Support training logistics & operations with Pole Leader or Master Scheduler.
• Provide solutions to training requests and proposals for large programs.
