Job summary

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Cutting Tools Sales Manager to lead sales across equipment, tools, parts, services, and digital solutions in the mining and construction sectors. You will forecast sales, engage customers, test products, and coordinate with Product Management to address feedback, while driving supply and order management processes.

Travel extensively is required; the ideal candidate holds a BA in Mining or Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in related industry and MSHA Part 48

Qualifications

• BA in Mining or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 yrs in related industry.
• MSHA Part 48 Certification.
• Knowledge of mechanical cutting equipment/applications.
• Knowledge of point of attack tooling design and applicational usage.
• Experience in the coal/limestone/tunneling/roadmilling industries.
• Knowledge of basic geological features as it pertains to cuttability.
• General knowledge of point of attack tooling manufacturing.
• Extensive travel is required.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship.
• Temporary work authorizations, including OPT, do not meet this requirement.

Responsibilities

• Forecast anticipated sales and align with division supply.
• Engage with customers to introduce Sandvik products and solutions addressing their needs.
• Participate in product testing and ROI analysis with customers where required.
• Provide feedback on quality and/or design issues to Product Management at the division.
• Usher purchase orders to the order desk and follow up on back orders or supply issues.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with customers experiencing overdue payment issues.
• Serve as Cutting Tools Sales Manager for Sandvik Mining’s equipment, tools, parts, services, digital solutions, and sustainability-driving technologies for mining and construction industries.
