Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Customs Operations Leader to oversee all customs activities and regulatory compliance. You will supervise a team, provide guidance and training, and manage entries and clearances for import/export shipments.

The role requires deep knowledge of customs regulations, strong stakeholder skills, and experience with documentation, ACE, and CustomsLink. Fluency in English and a bachelor's degree are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or international business required.
• Certification in customs or logistics is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in customs ops or brokerage, with 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, laws, and procedures.
• Experience working with customs officials, brokers, and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of import/export processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the customs operations of the company and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and manage a team of customs specialists, providing guidance and training.
• Process entries and clearances for import and export shipments.
• Monitor timely processing to avoid delays or penalties.
